    Arrival - Journey

Here are some general tips to help you get to Basel and find a parking space:

Use public transport: Basel has a well-developed public transport system. You can take the tram No. 14 or bus No. 36 to get to the St. Jakob. Here is the official site of the Basler Verkehrs Betriebe: www.bvb.ch

Parking facilities: If you arrive by car, there are two parking garages within five minutes walking distance: www.parkhaeuser.bs.ch/st-jakob and www.st-jakob-park.com

Arrive early: Allow enough time for travel and parking to ensure you are not pressed for time.

Alternative transport: Or take a taxi to the St. Jakob venue at the following address: St. Jakobs-Strasse 390, CH-4052 Basel.

    Waiting Times and Admission

With 8,000 visitors, there may be longer waiting times. We therefore recommend arriving early and having paper tickets ready in advance to make the experience as smooth as possible. Please note that there may also be longer waiting times for toilet use and meal collection. We will do our best to ensure that everything runs smoothly, but we still recommend that you plan your needs in advance and allow extra time if necessary.

    What You Should Bring

Some important notes regarding what to bring.

Warm clothing: As our event is taking place in the colder months, and Dr Joe Dispenza deliberately cools the hall to 20°C for concentration purposes, it is advisable to be prepared for changing temperatures. Please remember to bring warm clothing to help you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Meditation mask: To be able to fully concentrate on the event and your inner peace, we ask you to bring your meditation masks. If you don’t have one, you can buy one at the book shop.

Items not permitted in St. Jacob’s Hall:

Please do not wear perfume: Out of respect for our fellow participants who may be sensitive to fragrances, we ask that you do not use perfume or other strong-smelling products.

No pets: We ask that you do not bring pets into the hall to avoid any inconveniences for the animals and other participants.

For more information, please visit the St Jakobshalle page: https://stjakobshalle.ch/infos/

Please do not bring small children.

    Important Reminders

Please familiarize yourself with the following points to ensure the best-possible experience for you and other attendees.

    • Once a meditation session has started, there will be NO admittance into the hall. If you need to leave a meditation at any time, for any reason, you will not be able to re-enter the room. We understand emergencies happen, but we cannot disrupt the group. Please try to use the bathroom during breaks – and well before meditations are scheduled to begin.
    • Please turn off your cell phone during all event sessions.
    • No audio or video recording is allowed.

Should you need assistance or have any questions, our staff and volunteers will be available during all event sessions.

    Prohibited Behaviors

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any of the behaviors listed below. If you engage in any of the following, your registration will be revoked – with no refund – and you will be banned from future events.

    • Engaging in videography, photography, or media recording of any kind during sessions.
    • Being under the influence of alcohol during event session hours.
    • Willfully interrupting the event experience for our attendees by causing a disturbance or jeopardizing the safety of Dr Joe or other participants.
    • Engaging in private coaching sessions with other attendees before, during, or after the event.
    • Using licensed or copyright-protected images, audio, or videos from our events or products without our written permission. Note: doing so is illegal and enforceable by copyright law.
    • Being under the influence of mind-altering drugs – or soliciting/sharing these substances with other participants. Note: due to the lasting effects of some substances, this rule must be observed within 30 days of the start of the event – and continues through the duration of the retreat.

    Entrance & Category

We offer two categories: Silver and Gold – each with its own designated entrance at the event site. These categories have been developed based on their seating locations, either in the tribune with Silver or infield with Gold. Upon entry, you will receive a wristband, and we kindly request that you do not remove the band for the duration of the event.

    Cloakroom

Fee: There is a fee of CHF 3.00 for the use of the cloakroom. The venue team will only accept cash in Swiss francs. Please have the exact amount ready to expedite the check-in process at the cloakroom.

Opening hours: The cloakroom will remain open throughout the event. We recommend that you keep valuable items such as mobile phones and wallets with you at all times. The cloakroom is intended solely for storing your clothing and accessories.

Important: There is a separate information section below for suitcases and bags.

Suitcases & Bags - Locker Room

To ensure that your event experience runs as smoothly as possible, it is not permitted to bring backpacks, suitcases, bags, handbags, or other containers larger than A4 into the hall.

Don’t worry – we have set up a locker room where you can safely leave your suitcase before you pass the entrance and validate your ticket. The locker room is located very close to the entrance on the left-hand side.

Our team at the information stand, which is also located on the left side of the entrance, will be happy to help you.

Please note that the use of the locker room is subject to a fee of CHF 3.00 per item, and this fee can only be paid in cash and in Swiss francs.

    Translation and Headphones

The event will be held in English. We offer simultaneous translation in German and French.

Pre-booking and payment of the translation device: To ensure that you have a translation device available, we ask you to book and pay for it in advance. This way we can guarantee the availability of a device. Please note that booking and payment before the event is possible via the following link. There is no way to purchase this service on site.

Bring your own headphones – AUX cable only: You have the option to bring your own headphones with AUX connection to use the translation device. This ensures that you have a comfortable listening experience. If you do not have your own headphones, we will be happy to provide you with some.

Ticket for headphones – IMPORTANT: Please make sure you print out the ticket for the headphones, but do not show it at the entrance. It is clearly marked on the document, which is the translation and entrance ticket.

By following these steps, we will help all participants enjoy the event and save everyone time and effort.

    Catering & Menu

We would like to inform you about how catering and breaks are organized during our event. We have planned a morning break with coffee and light refreshments for you on both days, Saturday and Sunday. Please note that this break does not include a full breakfast, so we recommend coming to the event already well-fed. There will also be a small refreshment in the afternoon.

Our Lunch Menu will offer the following:

Gluten-free: All menus are gluten-free meals.
Vegan: We have also provided an option for vegans.
Poultry or fish: One day there will be fish, and the other day poultry.

The duration of the breaks is up to 90 minutes, so there is plenty of time to enjoy your meal at leisure. Please be patient, as we have over 8,000 like-minded individuals at the event, so there may be some delay in accessing the food and other services.

On Friday, we will provide drinking water, but there will also be a kiosk onsite where you can purchase snacks.

We would like to emphasize that lunch and snacks on Saturday and Sunday during the breaks are already included in your participation fee.

    Wheelchair Passengers and Wheelchair Tickets

We have prepared the following for our guests traveling with wheelchairs:

Wheelchair toilets: In the foyer of our venue, you will find wheelchair toilets, which are accessible with a Eurokey. These will be available to you throughout the event.

Admission: The entrance for wheelchair users is marked on the main entrance area. Our friendly staff will be there to assist you.

Important: If you have purchased a regular ticket and are arriving in a wheelchair, please contact us at events@psionline.zendesk.com – you will only have access to a wheelchair space with a designated wheelchair ticket.

We want to ensure that your visit to our live event is as comfortable as possible. If you have any further questions or special requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance. We look forward to welcoming you to our event and having a great time together.
